vCISO press coverage

We’ve gotten some great first quarter 2019 press exposure covering a range of cybersecurity topics.

First, our article covering the Four Signs You’re Ready for a Virtual CISO was published by the Security Ledger in February. We walk you through the key reasons for choosing a vCISO including because of customer input, regulatory requirements, mergers & acquisitions plus a bonus reason.

We were quoted by Digital Guardian on communicating cybersecurity with board members. Some of the best advice includes how to best communicate cybersecurity risk.

Any industry expert worth his salt, of course, has to make predictions. I predicted that 2019 would be the year of “misaligned cybersecurity investment” in techopedia. So far, my predictions have been right on the money!

We were quoted in SSL Store about the Marriott breach. I criticized Marriott’s handling of the incident including their lack of due diligence in its acquisition of Starwood.

Not only were we quoted on cybersecurity management and policy, but we also had coverage on some technical topics.

My favorite piece of advice when someone has adopted Docker is “don’t run as root!” Threat Stack took our advice to heart as we had the most specific security advice of the twenty experts quoted.

Our technical prowess is not limited to Docker, however. We were again quoted in Digital Guardian concerning selecting a managed detection & response provider.

Finally, we were quoted on our office space in Fit Small Business.

So, the first quarter has been a great start to 2019!
